NEGATIVE THINKING

Life events such as redundancy, bereavement, relationship break-up, divorce, a diagnosis of ill-health or change in general, can all affect our mood, and leave us feeling depressed.

 

Furthermore, negative thoughts tend to spiral at such times, and there often seems no light at the end of the tunnel. Our response is noticeable to ourselves and others - anxiety, worry, listlessness, insomnia, short temper and the inability to think clearly (anxiety and depression).

 

Mindfulness helps you notice your difficult feelings, and cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy helps you work through them. Instead of getting overwhelmed by our emotions or our thoughts, you, the client, is taught to be more aware of the present moment and recognise habitual patterns of negative thinking that may be contributing to an episode of low mood.

 

Then you have a choice. I will teach how to let it be, let it go, respond wisely and live with ease.
