Everything we learn and every new experience changes the structure of our brain. Even what we think and focus on changes the brain.

Most learning stands us in good stead for the challenges we face, but sometimes, for a variety of reasons, we learn to be anxious or fearful in certain situations, like flying, public speaking, driving tests, going for an interview, being in open spaces and many more.
So we have to unlearn these difficult responses - not an easy concept, but not a difficult challenge with the right guidance. Fear serves a protective process, and activates an automatic, but very uncomfortable response.
Hypnotherapy, especially mindful hypnosis, can change these automatic responses at a deep unconscious level where they were installed in the first place, usually, but not always, in childhood or early youth.
Mindfulness-based hypnosis teaches us firstly how to relax, and then to observe one’s present moment experience. From a place of feeling calm and relaxed, those thoughts which create agitation begin to lose their hold over you.
The good news is that a maladaptive fear response can be overcome, and you can begin to live an unrestricted life with ease.
